Linguistics major looking for a second language?
Q. I'm majoring in linguistics and would like to pick up a second language, either as a minor or double major. I'd like to study abroad to become fluent, and eventually become a professor of linguistics. I'm mainly interested in Russian, French, German and Greek, but I'm open to suggestions. Which would be a good language to learn?

A. I've studied American Sign Language (you don't have to travel abroad to become fluent), and Hebrew---both were very interesting and fun :) Once you pick up a second language, it becomes easier to learn subsequent languages so just pick one and have fun while you're learning! Good luck :)
